Vectant

How Vectant locks, mints, and redeems

Deposit the asset into a source-chain multisig, mint one to one on Canton, and redeem by burning the token. The vault releases only after the same M-of-N signature.

How it works

Lock, mint, verify, redeem

Two mirrored thresholds, held by the same independent operators, govern both sides of the bridge.

01

Lock

Assets are deposited into the source-chain multisig vault. M-of-N operators confirm the deposit.

02

Mint

Vectant mints the wrapped asset one to one on Canton through a CIP-56 registry contract.

03

Verify

Circulating supply is designed to be checked against locked reserves. A public certificate is planned before mainnet and is not published yet.

04

Redeem

Burning the Canton token does not move the vault by itself. The same M-of-N threshold has to sign the release on the source chain.
